Contribute a Session
This event depends our local community! By now we have lots of great contributions. If you still have some ideas, approach us!
We designed this event so you can create your own event. Do you think there is something missing in our scene? Did you always want a local tap jam? Want to share a cool choreo? Or would you like to host something entirely different, like an arts and crafts session? This is your moment.
A slot in our schedule is 1.5 hours, so ideally your session would fill those. You could also offer multiple sessions or a session that covers multiple slots. Please let us know that you want to teach a session during your registration. We will try to accommodate as many contributed sessions as possible but cannot promise a spot. We will inform you in time before the festival!
If you contribute a session to the festival, we will waive your participant fee! We are still happy about donations, though.

The Band: VHS Trio
Get ready to groove with VHS, a trio that combines over 115 years of jazz experience into one unforgettable performance. Pianist Lionel Haas, bassist Charles Sammons, and drummer Eric Vaughn bring together the best of the Big Band era with a fresh, modern swing that’s impossible to resist. Like the vintage VHS tapes, we capture the timeless essence of swing and give it a new spin—nostalgic yet forward-thinking. Our sound is a mix of classic rhythms and energetic beats that transport dancers back to the smoky jazz halls of yesteryear while keeping them moving to today’s pulse.
